BBHQ Midweek Update: Yucca Blooms, Tuna Wins, and Robin Returns

Bionic Basil’s Blog reports that the week’s weather has been a mix of rain, wind, drizzle, sunshine and a cooler breeze, with temperatures hovering around 11 °C to 13 °C.
The garden’s yucca, which began flowering a couple of weeks ago, is now in full bloom. The P.A. has trimmed the pointy ends from both sides, leaving the plant without spiky tips.
In the garden, the P.A. planted over 100 tulip bulbs on Monday, still has about 30 more to plant, and has 50 alliums. She plans to place the remaining tulips and some alliums in two large terracotta pots for a spring display.
Fudge was described as adorable, while Pandora surprised everyone by grabbing the tuna first, beating the usual last-to-the-dish routine.
Melvyn enjoyed a new box filled with catnip, pom-poms, lashings of fun, and a ball. Meanwhile, a robin landed on rocks near the birdbaths, appears to have moved under the carport permanently, and was given mealworms by the P.A., which it loved.
Amber will return on Friday with her next book review.
