Community guidelines
Petfinnly works because people on both sides, buyers and breeders, adopters and shelters, can trust what they see on the Site. These guidelines describe what we expect.
Listings
- Describe the animal accurately: breed, age, health, and temperament.
- Use real, unedited photos of the actual animal, never stock or misleading images.
- Only list an animal you have a lawful right to sell or rehome.
- Keep listing status current, mark it as no longer available once it's sold or adopted.
Messages and communication
- Communicate the way you'd want to be communicated with, no harassment, spam, or pressure tactics.
- Don't use messaging to advertise unrelated products or services.
- Report any message that feels threatening or unsafe rather than responding in kind.
Profiles
- Represent yourself and your organization honestly, no impersonation.
- Shelters and rescues: keep contact details and adoption process information current.
What happens if guidelines aren't followed
We may remove a listing or piece of content, and in serious or repeated cases suspend an account, that violates these guidelines. Our Terms & Conditions has the full policy. To report a concern, contact us.
