These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Petfinnly (the "Site"). By creating an account, posting a listing, messaging another user, or otherwise using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
Petfinnly is a listings platform and directory that connects people looking for a cat or kitten with breeders, rescues, and shelters. Petfinnly is not a breeder, seller, or shelter itself, is not a party to any sale, adoption, or transaction arranged between users, and never handles or processes payment for any listing. Buyers and sellers are solely responsible for agreeing on price, verifying paperwork and animal health, arranging payment, and completing the transaction directly with each other.
We strongly recommend meeting any seller or shelter in person, seeing the animal, and reviewing vet/vaccination records before paying anything or taking an animal home.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information on your account, for keeping your password secure, and for all activity that happens under your account. Let us know right away at petfinnly@gmail.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
If you post a listing, message, profile bio, or photo, you're responsible for it. Listings must accurately describe the animal, and photos must be genuine, not stock or misleading images. You may not use the Site to sell or advertise an animal you don't have a lawful right to sell, to misrepresent an animal's health or breed, or to engage in animal cruelty, neglect, or any other illegal activity.
We may remove any listing or content, and suspend or terminate any account, that we believe violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful, misleading, or unlawful — with or without notice.
Some shelter and rescue profiles on the Site were compiled from publicly available information to help more adopters find these organizations, rather than submitted by the organization itself. These are clearly marked as unclaimed. If you represent an organization with an unclaimed profile, you can claim it, request corrections, or request removal by emailing petfinnly@gmail.com.
Petfinnly is a 100% free platform. We have no paid subscription plans, no listing fees, and no commission on any sale or adoption — we don't charge you a single penny to use the Site.
You agree not to: scrape or systematically harvest data from the Site; use the Site to spam, harass, or defraud other users; impersonate another person or organization; upload content that infringes someone else's rights; or attempt to interfere with the Site's normal operation or security.
The Site is provided "as is." We don't verify every listing, user, or organization on the Site, and we don't guarantee the accuracy of any listing, the health or temperament of any animal, or the conduct of any user. Any transaction or interaction you have with another user is at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Petfinnly is not liable for any dispute, loss, or damage arising from a transaction, interaction, or animal obtained through the Site. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Site is limited to the amount (if any) you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Petfinnly operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
