From One-Pound Kitten to Fluffy Gentleman

A one-pound grey tabby kitten was found alone in a field, lethargic, dehydrated, and shutting down. A community plea with a 4 PM deadline prompted a rescue to pull him from a shelter that could not provide round-the-clock care. The kitten was stable enough to leave the shelter, but still needed intensive support.

In foster care with Welcome to the Zoo, the kitten received syringe feedings around the clock for the first few days. After days of hand-feeding, he began eating on his own. Week by week he grew rounder and softer, eventually becoming a one-year-old, fluffy cat who now wears a little black tuxedo tie.

His adopter celebrated his first birthday with a full party, a lit-up CONRAD sign, and a cat-themed screen. The former foster shared that seeing former fosters happy, healthy, and so loved will never get old.
