Golden Retriever Puppy Wins Cat’s Cheeks in Day 44
Benny, a golden retriever puppy, has been following his owner Juice for 44 days in an attempt to win her friendship. The latest video shows a brief moment of progress before the peace is broken again.
A Moment of Connection
The video, dated Day 44 of Benny’s persistence, captures Juice walking up to him near a window. Instead of passing by, she rubs her cheeks against him, a gesture that signals affection in cats. Benny’s tail starts wagging, and Juice stays near him for a short time afterward, suggesting a tentative breakthrough.
The Peace Shattered
Later, Benny is lying on the couch with his toy when Juice enters the room. He sees her, gets excited, and pops into a play bow. Juice is startled, runs away, and the brokered peace is over. The cat and dog friendship remains a work in progress.
