Cats see the world in a way that’s tuned for low light and quick motion. Their eyes work eight times better in dimness than ours, letting them spot prey at night. They can’t see in total darkness, but they’re excellent at tracking fast-moving objects.

Colour perception is different for felines. Blue and yellow stand out more, while reds and greens are harder to distinguish. A wide 200-degree field of view and a small blind spot under the chin help them detect movement from all angles. Choosing toys in blue or yellow can make playtime more engaging for your cat.
