Kitten Saved From Paper Bag by Rescue During Intake Freeze

A tiny tabby kitten was found in a nearly shut paper bag and brought to Love Your Feral Felines (LYFF) while the rescue was on an intake freeze. LYFF had paused new arrivals because its care capacity was full, but the kitten’s face stopped the team from turning him away.
The rescue team accepted the kitten, named Charlie, and provided him with food, a warm bed, vaccines, veterinary care and a planned neuter. Charlie is now safe at LYFF, has room to grow, and enjoys climbing and play. The rescue adjusted its space to accommodate him, bending the intake freeze for this one small tabby.
