Orange Cat Brothers Find New Home After Shelter Rescue
Two orange cats, Cal and Aron Trash, were found wandering the streets of California and later placed at Devore Shelter, where they were on the euthanasia list. Feline Lifeline rescued them from the streets and saved them from euthanasia. The rescue organization gave the brothers a literary backstory inspired by John Steinbeck’s East of Eden, naming them after the novel’s siblings. Cal is described as outgoing, adventurous, friendly, curious, and eager to explore, while Aron is more reserved. Both cats are now looking for a future with cozy beds, full food bowls, and a family that appreciates a touch of literary humor. The brothers hope to finish their story with a soft place to sleep, a full bowl of food, and a happy ending.
