Senior Cat Theo’s Halloween Costume Wins Hearts
Theo, a senior cat at Suncoast Humane Society, entered the shelter’s “13 Days of Halloween: Meet Our Boo Crew” wearing a pair of devil horns. The horns are a playful look, but Theo’s caregivers describe him as one of the most affectionate cats they’ve ever met.
When Theo first arrived, he had painful sores between his toes caused by an unsanitary environment. The damage required ongoing veterinary attention and a long period of healing. Over months of care, most of the sores have healed, and Theo remains loving and tolerant of treatment.
The shelter hopes that the attention from the Halloween event will help Theo find a family that can give him a comfortable home. Theo is ready for a life with a soft couch, plenty of affection, and a loving companion.
