Tuxedo Cat’s Heart-Shaped Blep Captures Hearts

A tuxedo cat with black-and-white markings and round features was filmed looking around while a tiny pink tongue poked out, forming a heart shape. The clip, set to “Funkytown,” shows the cat’s big eyes, fluffy cheeks and long white whiskers, while viewers noted the expression resembled someone puzzled by a board-game rule. The brief tongue-out, called a blep, is common after grooming or when relaxed. Persistent tongue protrusion with other symptoms may warrant a veterinarian visit.
