Friends of Rescue (FOR) is a 100% volunteer-run, foster-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Huntsville, Alabama, dedicated to rescuing and rehoming as many animals as possible. Because every animal is housed in a foster home rather than a shelter facility, each new foster family allows the organization to save more lives. The adoption process starts with an application, which helps the team get to know each applicant and find the best match for their lifestyle. Friends of Rescue is open Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 9 AM to 3 PM.
