Missing Link Rescue was founded in 2009 in Gardendale, Alabama, with the goal of promoting responsible animal ownership and stepping in when others are unable or unwilling to do so. The rescue's founder and director, Debbie Cousins, has worked with and rescued animals for more than 20 years, and co-founder Deb Kilgore has likewise been involved in animal rescue for many years. Together, the two continue to serve as dedicated advocates for the animals in their care.
