Randolph County Animal Shelter (RCAS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal shelter in Wedowee, Alabama. It was founded by a group of local volunteers who saw a need for a temporary home for the area's many abandoned animals, and opened its doors on October 27, 2007. Since then, RCAS has worked to find loving homes for stray and abandoned dogs and cats in the community, aiming to reduce animal suffering, improve animal health, and educate the public about responsible pet ownership.
