Safe Haven ARK (Animal Rescue & Kennel), based in Abbeville, Alabama, is a no-kill nonprofit shelter and rescue. As a no-kill facility, it does not euthanize healthy or treatable animals even when full, reserving euthanasia only for terminally ill animals or those considered a danger to public safety. The organization relies on volunteers, fostering, and medical care to expand its resources and works actively to lower the number of homeless animals entering the shelter system.
