Serenity Woods Farm Start an adoption application

Serenity Woods Farm is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue sanctuary based in Gadsden, Alabama. What began with the purchase of a couple of goats and a pig grew into something larger once its founders saw how many animals in the area were overlooked, neglected, or had nowhere safe to go; the sanctuary was officially formed in 2016. Rather than focusing on taking in as many animals as possible, Serenity Woods Farm intentionally stays small so it can provide a high level of individualized care, giving each animal the space, safety, and time needed to heal both physically and emotionally. The sanctuary emphasizes quality of care and a lifelong commitment to the animals it takes in, treating each one as an individual rather than a statistic. Visitors are welcome to schedule a tour, and the farm's rescued animals reportedly enjoy the extra attention (and treats) that come with guests. Serenity Woods Farm is open Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; it's closed Saturday and Sunday.

Hours Monday: 9 AM-4 PM; Tuesday: 9 AM-4 PM; Wednesday: 9 AM-3 PM; Thursday: 9 AM-4 PM; Friday: 9 AM-3 PM; Saturday: Closed; Sunday: Closed
