Last Chance Ranch Sanctuary

Last Chance Ranch Sanctuary is a permanent home in northern Arizona for special needs, abandoned, injured, and otherwise needy animals, cats, dogs, and horses, who have truly run out of other options. The sanctuary's founder bought 40 acres of land in 1996 and began taking in animals, eventually completing the process of qualifying for nonprofit status in April 2009. Unlike a typical adoption organization, animals accepted at Last Chance Ranch stay for life, living out their days in as much comfort and happiness as possible. The sanctuary depends on donations to provide food, supplies, and veterinary care, and supporters can become an Angel Sponsor by making a monthly donation toward a specific animal or wherever the need is greatest. The sanctuary is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
