With the help of her good friend Elizabeth Cotton, Darla applied to become a nonprofit 501c-3, and the two have been saving lives ever since. Over the years, Darla and Elizabeth, with the help of a team of committed volunteers, have saved hundreds of cats and even a few dogs. This wonderful team has also provided sanctuary to long-term cat residents who have special needs.
