Boyle Heights Cats is a volunteer-run organization that reduces cat overpopulation through Trap-Neuter-Return-Monitoring and low-cost spay/neuter for community cats. It trains residents of Boyle Heights, Lincoln Heights, El Sereno and East Los Angeles to carry out TNR and monitor colonies. Friendly cats and kittens encountered during TNR rely on a foster network; some fostering commitments can be as short as a few weeks.
