The purrfect nonprofit cat shelter and gaming lounge in San Francisco. Brittany Blaiddyd had captured a stray cat when she ran into a problem: there was nowhere to take him. She couldn't afford to take in another cat, he was unneutered and unvaccinated, and he had sustained injuries from presumed cat fights. Every shelter was full except for a county kill shelter. After finally getting him neutered, vaccinated, and healed, she had no choice but to release him back into the wild. Brittany vowed to improve the shelter capacity for cats in her area by opening a safe haven herself. Pixel Purrfect Arcade is her labor of love for the unwanted and stray cats of the Bay Area.
It combines a nonprofit cat shelter with a vintage video-game lounge, a hybrid model. As of their last update, adoptable-cat listings were still coming soon since the project is early-stage.
