She came into my life in 1983 after having been found wandering the streets, eating food from broken glass jars.
The rescue was inspired by a rescued dog named Bandit, whom the founder promised in 1992 to honor by helping other animals find permanent, loving homes.
Bandit's Place operates as both an animal rescue and a wildlife rehabilitation center.
