A small, all-volunteer, foster-based rescue serving Washington DC, suburban Maryland and northern Virginia. It works on a quality-over-quantity basis rather than moving high volumes of animals, and in April 2022 it took on the animals and community of DC PAWS Rescue. There is no shelter or boarding facility, so every cat lives with a foster family until it is adopted. It shows adoptable dogs and cats through The Big Bad Woof pet supply store in northwest DC rather than at a shelter building of its own.
