What do I need to bring with me when I adopt? A copy of your driver's license or a valid state picture ID. You must be 18 years or older to adopt a pet. Proof of current address if it doesn’t match your ID (online bill, statement, etc) A collar and leash for a dog or puppy (if you don’t have one, you can purchase both during adoption). A pet carrier for cats (if you don’t have one, you can purchase a cardboard carrier during adoption). A form of payment. We accept credit cards, debit cards, and cash payments.
