Ursula and her volunteers have rescued, cared for and placed over 5 thousand unwanted, sick and mistreated dogs and cats. When asked why she does this task her only answer is:

The organization was originally known as the Barrow County Humane Society and was renamed Pup & Cat Co in 1999. It has rescued, cared for, and placed over 5,000 dogs and cats since then.
