Pup & Cat Co. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit funded entirely by donations and adoption fees. Previously known as the Barrow County Humane Society, it adopted its current name in 1999. Ursula and the organization's volunteers have rescued, cared for and placed more than 5,000 unwanted, sick and mistreated dogs and cats. Donations are tax-deductible.
