Our mission is to improve the health, welfare, and quality of life of stray, abandoned, and unclaimed cats and kittens throughout Indianapolis and the surrounding communities. As a 100% volunteer-driven, foster-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we are committed to providing compassionate care, safe housing, medical treatment, and opportunities for adoption to cats and kittens in need. With over 50 combined years of rescue experience, they founded Cuddle Me Cat Rescue (CMCR) to create a compassionate alternative. Our foster-based model means every cat receives individualized attention in a loving home environment while awaiting their forever family.
Adopters must agree to keep the cat(s) strictly indoors and to not declaw.
Complete an application; a volunteer reviews it and follows up, then a phone or in-person interview is conducted; once approved, a meet-and-greet is arranged, followed by a signed adoption agreement.
