The municipal animal shelter serving Iowa City, Coralville, University Heights, the University of Iowa and unincorporated Johnson County. Alongside its own adoption floor it partners with a local cat cafe where some of its cats are shown, and runs a barn cat programme for cats better suited to outdoor working homes.

Hours Mon-Fri 10:30am-5:30pm, Sat 10:30am-3pm. Closed Sunday and holidays.
