Hardin County Community Cats was founded in June 2022 as the cat-focused part of Forever Homes for Paws, following work with bottle-fed kittens that began that spring under founder Toshie Murrell. The group cares for orphaned kittens and mother cats with litters in Hardin County. Its work includes TNR, returning mother cats to their territory and finding homes for kittens, along with raising awareness of their needs.
