It is said that necessity is the mother of invention. We began out of necessity. We started as volunteers with the local dog rescue, but too many cats were going without help so we wrote a grant to start a foster based cat rescue. With $100 and a lot of help, we started what would eventually become Met-A-Cat Rescue. Over the course of a year, with a global pandemic raging, we managed to rescue over 100 cats and kittens.
