We are a volunteer group dedicated to promoting humane solutions to feral feline overpopulation. Affordable spay/neuter for pets is an essential part of the No Kill Equation. If people can't afford to get their pets fixed, unwanted litters will continue to happen with deadly consequences. This is a vicious circle that has to be stopped. SpayNation for Dogs & Cats, the first low cost spay/neuter center in Acadiana, opened on April 12, 2010. It provides a desperately needed low cost option to assist pet owners in spaying/neutering their dogs and cats. The center also works with local animal welfare groups to provide spay/neuter surgery for their rescued animals prior to re-homing. Please.
Usually $75 (reduced fee available when adopting two)
All cats/kittens are altered, tested for FeLV/FIV, current on vaccinations, and treated for parasites prior to adoption.
A trap-neuter-return (TNR) group; friendly, socialization-ready cats/kittens are placed into the adoption system. Fill out an online pre-adoption questionnaire and they will follow up for a match.
Usually $75, with a reduced fee if you adopt two cats.
