Feral Cat Rescue Inc is an all-volunteer nonprofit helping feral and stray cats in St. Mary's County through non-lethal population management. Its TNR and maintenance program provides veterinary evaluation, vaccinations and sterilization. Healthy cats unsuitable for adoption return to familiar outdoor homes with ongoing care. Adoptable cats and kittens live with foster families until permanent homes are found.
Adopters commit to yearly vet visits (plus sick visits) and to returning the cat to the rescue if they can no longer care for it.
Fill out the online application and email it in; if approved, the cat is brought to your home to meet the family, medical records are provided, and the contract is signed and fee paid (tax deductible).
