Feral Cat Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization dedicated to humanely reducing the feral and stray cat population in St. Mary’s County through a variety of methods without euthanasia. With our Trap, Neuter, Return, and Maintain program, feral cats are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Healthy cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers or those people already feeding them. Adopters commit to yearly vet visits (plus sick visits) and to returning the cat to the rescue if they can no longer care for it.
Fill out the online application and email it in; if approved, the cat is brought to your home to meet the family, medical records are provided, and the contract is signed and fee paid (tax deductible).
$125 for a kitten or $75 for an adult cat.
