Whiskers of Hope, Inc. is a non-profit no-kill adoption organization for cats and kittens. We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 not-for-profit charitable corporation. We operate a no-kill “virtual shelter” with all our cats in the care of foster homes. Whiskers of Hope needs your help and is always looking for volunteers that would like to foster homeless cats. Cats age 6 years and older: $100; ask the rescue for current fees for younger cats and kittens.
A complete application and reference check are required. Cats must live indoors. Kittens under 9 months are adopted in pairs unless the adopter already has a cat or dog at home for companionship.
Submit the application before visiting. Allow several days for reference checks; after approval, meet the adoption coordinator and visit the cat, with a home visit required in some cases.
