The mission of One Love Rescue is to rescue abandoned and surrendered cats and find them their forever homes. We are a government nonprofit organization, but we have not yet obtained our federal 501c3 affiliation. Emily Cameron-Nevills is the director of One Love Rescue. She started volunteering with other rescue groups around 6 years ago, in 2014, working with dogs and cats. A dear friend Margaret, of Laney's Voice, taught her much of what she knows today. When Margaret passed away in 2019, Emily teamed up with another group of ladies who wanted to help the well-being of animals. This became a grassroots group with no real vision or name. As more women joined, they were able to help more.
