Through these efforts, it became clear that hospice rescue was already part of our mission-offering comfort and dignity to animals who needed it most. This realization inspired the naming of Sunset Sanctuary House and, soon after, Twilight Whiskers. Our organization was founded on the belief that every animal deserves a gentle farewell, surrounded by warmth and love in their final days. Twilight Friends, our healthy rescues, play a special role by providing companionship to those in hospice care, brightening their days and reminding us all of the joy animals bring. Looking ahead, Twilight Whiskers is committed to expanding resources, building a robust volunteer hospice foster program.
