Jeannie Meows Animal Rescue began with one frightened kitty, one determined woman, and a community need that could no longer be ignored. Our founder, **Virginia Morales**, started the rescue after she found herself desperately searching for medical help for a sick cat. She reached out for assistance, but no one in her town was willing or able to help. The only person who stepped forward was a woman who operated a rescue in another town.

Complete an adoption application and prescreening. The rescue stays in contact after adoption and requires adopted cats to be returned to it if the placement does not work out.
