Cruces Cool Cats was founded in 2020 by Selina Cardoza in response to the growing number of homeless and feral cats in our community. What began with helping cats from hoarding situations and providing TNR services grew into a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, no-kill rescue and sanctuary serving Doña Ana County. Since then, Cruces Cool Cats has helped more than 1,500 cats through rescue, TNR, sanctuary care, and adoption - all with the support of volunteers, donors, adopters, fosters, and a community that believes every cat deserves a chance. Prospective adopters complete an application and screening. Approved applicants may take the cat for a one-week sleepover before deciding whether to finalize the adoption.
Submit the application, complete the rescue's review, take the approved cat for a one-week trial, then complete the adoption and pay the current fee if the placement is a match.
