Taos, NM
Four Corners Animal League is a non-shelter rescue organization dedicated to enhancing the welfare of pets and homeless animals in Taos County and Northern New Mexico through responsible ownership, humane education, and community support. Since 2000, the organization has funded low-cost and no-cost spay and neuter services for over 17,000 dogs and cats in collaboration with local veterinarians, while also transferring more than 7,500 animals to partner facilities in Colorado. Operating without a central facility, the League relies on volunteer foster networks and elementary school outreach to prevent overpopulation and find loving homes for animals.
