SouthWest Animal Team is a nonprofit organization based in Los Lunas, New Mexico, dedicated to ending the euthanasia of companion animals in Valencia County. Working closely with Valencia County Animal Services, they provide essential resources including low-cost spay and neuter services, emergency veterinary assistance, and adoption sponsorships. They are currently establishing a new adoption center and deploying a 40-foot custom mobile spay/neuter and transport trailer to save hundreds of shelter pets each month.
SouthWest Animal Team sponsors adoptions and directs prospective adopters to adopt companion animals directly from Valencia County Animal Services or through affiliated local rescues.
