The Animal Support Project Inc (TASP) is an all-volunteer, all-species companion animal safety net based in the Capital Region of New York. The organization focuses on crisis intervention and mitigation directly with companion animal owners to keep pets, including cats, living with their families. They also facilitate re-homing in extreme cases, supply local food pantries with pet supplies, and provide flea and tick prevention.
In extreme cases where no other solution is possible and space is available, TASP facilitates the re-homing of companion animals to ensure their best interest.
TASP performs crisis intervention directly with owners to keep pets in their homes; however, in extreme cases where no other solution is possible and space is available, they will facilitate re-homing.
