Fees, requirements & process

Requirements

Past pet ownership history with positive veterinary reference, homeownership (no rental situations or students), no children under 12 years old, traditional physical fencing (wood, vinyl, chain link; no electric fences/tie-outs for dogs), and mandatory spay/neuter by 6 months for young pets.

How it works

Interested adopters submit an application, which is reviewed alongside other applicants to find the best match. The process includes a veterinary reference check, potential home visit, and an opportunity to meet the animal at a foster home or public showing event.
