Founded in 2016 in Pawling, New York, Happy Life Animal Rescue Inc is a 501(c)(3) limited-intake animal rescue dedicated to saving dogs and cats across the Hudson Valley and beyond. Completely 100% donation-funded with no government grants, the organization helps 600 to 700 animals annually through adoption, foster networks, and community pet food assistance.
Completion of an online Cat or Dog Registration Form prior to meeting animals in foster care or finalizing adoption.
Adopters complete an online registration form (Dog or Cat Registration Form), visit the Pawling center or attend an adoption event (including PetSmart in Mohegan Lake), and work with an adoption counselor to find the right match. Most animals are ready to go home the same day.
Happy Life Animal Rescue provides resources for pet owners needing to rehome their pet, including a Home-to-Home pet placement program.
