HeartsHerd Animal Sanctuary and Rescue Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization situated on over twenty-one acres in Buskirk, New York. Serving the Capital Region of Albany, Rensselaer County, and across New York State, the sanctuary rescues, rehabilitates, and provides a lifelong loving haven for abused, abandoned, and homeless animals, including companion cats and dogs alongside farm animals. Through rescue initiatives, community partnerships, and hands-on care, HeartsHerd works to give vulnerable animals a compassionate voice and a safe place to heal.
HeartsHerd works directly with individuals and partner rescues to assist with the placement and fostering of rescued animals. Interested adopters are encouraged to get in touch via email or phone to inquire about available animals and schedule an introductory appointment.
