Founded in 1981, Last Hope Animal Rescue (Kashockas Hope Inc) is dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of stray, abandoned, and pound-facing companion animals. The organization operates an adoption center alongside satellite partner locations, offering cat and dog adoption, foster placements, and low-cost spay/neuter services including the Fix-A-Feral TNR program.

Hours Monday thru Saturday: 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
Areas served Long Island, Wantagh, Huntington, Plainview, and surrounding New York communities

Fees, requirements & process

Requirements

Completion of a Cat Adoption Application or Dog Adoption Application.

How it works

Prospective adopters can submit an adoption application for cats or dogs, view available animals at the main Wantagh Adoption Center or partner satellite locations, and complete the screening process.
