Return-to-Rescue Policy If an adopter can no longer care for the cat, the cat must be returned to NY Cat Warriors.
Complete an adoption application (household, other pets, lifestyle, experience); checked against the NY Animal Abuser registry per state law; a phone call, FaceTime, or home check may follow at the rescue’s discretion, then a meet-and-greet at the foster home or via FaceTime. Cats must be spayed/neutered before adoption or the adopter agrees in writing to complete it by a set date.
