Completion of an adoption application and meeting with adoption volunteers.
Prospective adopters submit an adoption application and can visit adoptable cats at the adoption center during weekend open hours or by calling to schedule an appointment. Because cats reside in foster homes, PAN recommends calling ahead to ensure specific cats will be at the center.
Adoption fees are $225 for kittens (up to 1 year), $175 for adult cats (1 to 7 years), and $100 for seniors (8+ years). When adopting a mother cat alongside one of her kittens, the mother cat's fee is half price.
All adoptions include spay/neuter surgery, appropriate feline leukemia screening, age-appropriate rabies and FVRCP vaccines, deworming, and flea preventative.
Their adoption center at 1963 E. Main St in Rochester is open on Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, with appointments available outside open hours.
Due to being a no-kill organization operating with foster homes, Pet Adoption Network Ltd must find homes for their current cats before accepting new intakes, and their foster homes are frequently full. They advise owners seeking to rehome cats to check other rescue organizations and shelters.
