Rescued Treasures Pet Adoptions is a volunteer-run, 501(c)(3) foster-based rescue operating in Rochester, NY since 2010. Their mission is to help homeless and unwanted cats, dogs, and small animals get vetted, healthy, and placed into permanent homes. In addition to foster homes, they maintain partner adoption rooms at local Pet Supplies Plus locations for in-person cat viewing.
Rescued Treasures Pet Adoptions has adoption fees starting from $200.
Complete an adoption application.
View available pets and submit an online adoption application, which is reviewed by the team caring for that specific pet; approved applicants can arrange a meet-and-greet or visit cat adoption rooms at local retail partners.
Cat adoption fees include age-appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter (alter), microchip, deworming, flea prevention, and combination testing for Feline Leukemia and Feline AIDS.
In addition to online foster listings, adoptable cats can be visited at Pet Supplies Plus adoption rooms in Webster (980 W Ridge Rd and 1900 Empire Blvd Baytowne Plaza) and Brighton (2947 Monroe Ave).
Prospective adopters must submit an online adoption application, which is then routed directly to the foster care team caring for that specific animal.
Rescued Treasures Pet Adoptions provides intake surrender request forms for cats, dogs, and small animals, though intake is subject to capacity and they cannot accept every animal due to high request volumes.
