Spaying Capital Region Unowned Feral Felines (SCRUFF) is a volunteer-run Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return (TNVR) organization founded by Dr. Susan Sikule of Just Cats Veterinary Clinic. Dedicated to humanely reducing community cat populations in New York's Capital District, SCRUFF has altered and vaccinated more than 10,000 stray and feral cats since 2007. The organization provides low-cost spay/neuter clinic arrangements, humane trap loans, and community education on feral cat care.
Scruff Inc does not take in, accept surrenders of, or foster cats or kittens, but can help caregivers locate local animal rescue organizations.
