Second Chance Farms Inc. is a family-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal retirement and hospice farm that provides lifelong, dignified care to geriatric, special-needs, and medically complex animals, including domestic cats. Operating out of Gainesville, Florida, all animals taken into their program become permanent residents either at the farm under the 24/7 care of two veterinarians or in closely monitored permanent foster homes.
Second Chance Farms maintains a lifelong commitment to each animal it assists; animals become permanent sanctuary residents at the farm or are placed into permanent foster home arrangements under the direction of SCF staff.
The farm is currently full and unable to accept dogs or cats from the general public. Individuals looking to rehome a dog or cat are advised to contact their local public animal shelter or humane society.
