Shelter Chic is a 501(c)(3) volunteer-run, foster-based animal rescue organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming shelter dogs and cats. They work to remove the stigma associated with shelter pets and promote adoption in a fun, positive, and inviting way.
Adopters must reside in the Tri-State Area (exceptions require in-person meetings). If adopting a dog and already owning a dog, applicants must bring their current dog for a meet-and-greet.
Prospective adopters submit an application for a specific animal or a general application. Once approved, the rescue matches applicants with adoptable pets that suit their home and needs to arrange a meeting.
