Shelter Outreach Services

Shelter Outreach Services (SOS) is a non-profit, MASH-style high quality, high volume spay/neuter (HQHVSN) organization based in Ithaca, New York. Traveling throughout the Finger Lakes region, SOS provides accessible sterilization surgeries and medical consultations for shelter cats and dogs, feral cats, barn cats, rescues, and pets of low-income families. Collaborating closely with partner shelters and the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine, SOS sterilizes over 10,500 animals annually to reduce companion animal suffering and overpopulation.
