ENC Rescue Alliance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue organization based in Washington, North Carolina, serving Beaufort County and surrounding Eastern North Carolina communities. Working closely with local municipal shelters such as Beaufort County Animal Services, the rescue pulls vulnerable cats, kittens, and dogs at risk of euthanasia and places them into compassionate foster care. Through dedicated community fostering, medical care, and network adoption efforts, they help find permanent homes for pets in need.
Adopters must complete an adoption application, provide veterinary references verifying that current pets are altered and up to date on vaccinations, and demonstrate an ability to provide a safe home.
Prospective adopters can reach out directly via their official Facebook page or email encrescuealliance@gmail.com to request an adoption application, coordinate meet-and-greets with foster caregivers, and complete the screening process.
