Helping Animals to Survive (HATS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Lincoln County, North Carolina, dedicated to protecting and enhancing the lives of companion animals. Working in partnership with Lincoln County Animal Services, HATS hosts adoption events for cats and dogs, supports foster care, facilitates TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) for community cats, and provides low-cost spay/neuter and free vaccine and microchip clinics.

Hours Saturday adoption events 10:30 am – 3:30 pm; cats available daily during regular PetSmart store hours
Areas served Lincoln County, NC, including Lincolnton, Denver, Huntersville, and Charlotte

How it works

HATS partners with Lincoln County Animal Services to showcase adoptable pets at local retail partner locations, including Saturday adoption events and daily cat adoptions at partner PetSmart stores.
